Meet your instructor

Bec

Bec has been a Pilates instructor since 2018, starting her career teaching reformer Pilates, mat Pilates, pre and post natal Pilates, yoga and other group fitness classes.

Bec grew up in the small Adelaide Hills town of Charleston with her family. Bec married her high-school sweetheart, Jake in November of 2022, currently living in Nairne with their two high energy Kelpies, Halle and Kip.

Since Bec was a child she has struggled with severe anxiety and panic attacks, when discovering Pilates and the mind-body connection it demands she quickly found her love for the movement and the many mental and physical health benefits it offers. Bec aims to reduce the stigma of mental illnesses and hopes to help others feel comfortable by speaking openly about her own struggles and experiences. Bec understands that every day is different for everybody and is here to support both your physical and mental health journey.

This is where Bec found the inspiration for ‘Finding Ground Wellness Club’. Grounding to her is about finding and connecting with the present moment. Bec wants everyone to feel welcome and a part of the ‘club’.

In recent years Bec found a deep interest in women’s health, including sexual hormones, mental health, gut health, pregnancy and post-partum health, studying these areas with Endeavour College of Natural Health. This is where her idea for offering classes that work in partnership with the female body and hormones originated. Bec believes that full expression of self can be found when working together with your body.
